The Journey Of No Return

Everyone here on planet earth, has a role to play; has a journey to embark on…

It’s a Journey of no return…

This life is not our home, we are just passer bye’s… then dear Lord what will we do?

 

Lost in the waves; carried by the floods

with no idea of what route to take..

I turned back, there was no way

I looked to my front, there was no way

I looked by my side, there was no way..

I was like a man in a bottomless pit with no way forward..

I seeked the help of men but it failed

I failed to realize that the only way out of a pit is to look above…

But MERCY found me, still i neglected mercy.. pheww

It brought me out of the pit, set me on the right path, sooner than later, i found myself going the wrong way again…

MERCY SAID NO….; It found me… again

I began wondering what it is with MERCY that its kept saving me, without a cost… and then i discovered its the fathers never ending love..

I still wonder how a being can keep loving a wretched human like me.. I found no answer to this.

It set me on the right path once again.. i dare not leave it.. because i had encountered the MERCY that kept saying NO despite my fall..

The guilt of sin kept dragging me backwards..

I was weighed down by my past… but MERCY revived me and delivered me from sin and its guilt… Now, i am free and free indeed..

I made up my mind to embark on THE JOURNEY OF NO RETURN… Never going to return to sin..

Beneath shouldered burdens,

I trudge forward step by step,

The mountain and wind bowed not to the trials of my task,

nevertheless i kept going…

No matter how far it is,

Each step so heavy,

I will rise higher and higher because my focus is on the crown that lasts forever even when the world passes away….

I dare not turn back… I have picked the cross and i am determined to carry it till the end..

Are you ready to drop your sin? and carry your cross?

Lay up treasures for yourselves not here on earth but in heaven where there are no moths or insects…
